Like said, I grow a couple of herbs on my balcony. Especially I like the chives, which are small onions with greenish, edible stems. During the summer I have harvested my balcony garden already multiple times. I wanted to post some delicious grilling images, colored by the greenish chives. 🙂 Most of the photos are taken yesterday evening.
Here is my greenish balcony garden, after my herbs have grown. You can follow the link above and compare this image and the other one posted in May. 🙂
Chives are excellent over rye bread, with a herring for example.
Chives can be put on button mushrooms filled with smoked reindeer seasoned butter cheese.
Tabasco and chives on a drumstick. Om nom nom nom…
In the aluminum foil, mini tomatoes and button mushrooms are grilled with cheesy chives and seasons. In the metal tray are blue cheese filled button mushrooms wrapped in bacon slices.
Look at this! Mmmm.
A younger flower of chives. This is one of the strong chives I mentioned in my earlier balcony post. I think I should carefully collect all the seeds and plant them right away.
An older flower of chives.
Crowns of dill. Dill is an important herb with fish and crustacean dishes.
These are like small, greenish fireworks. 😀
A small parsley growing in a glass bottle. I use parsley with copse snails for example.
