Tokyo Holiday Diary 2014 – Part 2

Hello! This is the second part of my Tokyo Holiday Diary 2014. Finally, I managed to get my blog app working with the wireless internet connection our hostel provides! Though, I didn’t work through the whole night as I also slept for a while πŸ™‚

Yesterday, we landed to the Narita airport. Before that, our plane took off from Finland, we went to Istanbul (see the coming city light photos taken from the night sky) and from Istanbul we came to Japan. The whole trip took approximately 16 hours. After the landing in Japan, we were like lost childs as we tried to goggle those odd letters and figure out how to get to our final destination πŸ˜€ In the airport, we took a train to Tokyo station and from there we went to Asakusabashi by metro, which is about 500 meters away from our hostel.

During the last flight, I read one info book made for tourists in Tokyo, and now I cannot wait to get my hands on the local dishes! Can you imagine, these guys make sashimi even by rolling fish roe in squid meat! Damn, those dishes sound marine and delicious to me! Actually, after the settling in our hostel, we took a little city round, drunk some beers and sake with small salty dishes. I already tried to satisfy my hunger for marine food by ordering a scallop skewer, but you should also notice the rectum skewer in the coming menu πŸ˜€ Pretty wild, huh! The toilets are also somewhat weird here as you can see πŸ˜€ And finally, people here are nice and kind.

So, enjoy the images and see ya later, next time with the new photos and stories!
