A couple of days ago, my girlfriend and I went to the centrum of Tampere, for photographing the Ratina stream pool. We went there in 2014, which means… Happy new year 2015! In 2014, a lot of things has happened in Finland and around us; the world has changed. In his new year’s speech, our wise, analytical, and objective president of republic, Sauli Niinistö, talked about the recent times and gave us ways for looking forward. If you are interested, the whole speech can be found here. I don’t know, what to include or remove from the president’s speech. I totally agree with him. Oh, and back to the photos, here they are! The cool Ratina stream pool and snowy Tampere, enjoy! The photos can be found in the Golden and Silver photo galleries 🙂

The cool Ratina stream pool, shedding some light in the dark winter 🙂

I also photographed the main campus of university of Tampere. This is one of my favorite buildings in Tampere, the Linna main library. Once I used to read a lot of biochemistry there, as I wrote my bachelor’s thesis.

The main entrance of Pinni building, also located in the main campus. I like the open and cool glass-steel architecture 🙂
